4th May, 3pm, St Andrews Church, University Way
Nairobi Chamber Chorus are holding their first official public concert, (although you may have seen them perform on many occasions for different organisations and along with other musical groups). This concert marks their debut solo concert with an exciting programme, including the Kenya premiere of Norman Luboff’s African Mass, as well as music from around the world.

7th May, 7.30pm, Alliance Francaise
Later in May you can see the Nairobi Chamber Chorus performing alongside young prodigy pianist, Levi Moscovici, who will be performing an exciting Romantic repertoire, including Chopin, Rachmaninov, Liszt and Gershwin, in a three cities tour taking him to Nairobi, Kampala and Addis Ababa. The Nairobi Chamber Chorus will join him in Nairobi as well as in Kampala for their debut performance in Uganda. Ticket proceeds to RETRAK – working with street children in eastern Africa.

5th October, 3.00pm, RaMoMa Museum of Modern Art

On october 5th, 2008, Nairobi Chamber Chorus will be launching their first CD at a concert “Afro-Music Celebrations.  Come listen to a musical tour round the world with the top vocal ensemble in Kenya.  They will also be performing selections of their favourite black spirituals including Moses Hogan’s “Joshua fit the battle”. Charges are: Adults Kshs. 400, Students/Children Kshs. 300

25th October, 3.00pm About Thyme Restaurant

Nairobi Chamber Chorus will perform at a private function at the About Thyme restaurant.  Not open to public.

December, 2008

We are already preparing our christmas repertoire.  Invitations for private and public functions are welcome.
